Each area has its own feel; here's who each one suits.
The cathedral end is the obvious one. The Cathedral of Aveiro, the Igreja da Misericórdia de Aveiro and the Museu de Aveiro belong to the historic centre, and a room among them leaves nothing on that part of the register more than a walk away. Architecture makes the second case.
Anyone here for the Museu Arte Nova, the Residência Silva Rocha and the Residência Pompeu Figueiredo is chasing frontages rather than altars, and those addresses set their own route through the city.
