Two registered sites anchor the county. The Tomb of Wu Zhen in Jiashan is the older, a grave kept under the name of Wu Zhen and treated as the principal piece of heritage inside 嘉善县 rather than as a working temple or garden. The Sun Daolin Film Art Museum is the second, given over to film and named for Sun Daolin.
Between them they cover very different ground. One is a burial monument; the other a modern institution, and a visitor working through Jiashan in a single day can reasonably take in both without leaving the county.

Jiashan dates from 1430. The county was constituted in that year under the name 嘉善县, and both parts of that name have stayed attached to the same stretch of Jiaxing through every reorganisation since. Its heritage record runs long.
The Tomb of Wu Zhen in Jiashan stands at the older end of it, while the Sun Daolin Film Art Museum sits at the newer, so the two registered sites of Jiashan County bracket a span of several centuries between them.
