Where is Linnanniemi?

Linnanniemi reaches out into the water on the north-western side of Hämeenlinna. The headland carries the old castle ground of Kanta-Häme where the town first took root, with the lake on one side and the streets of the centre running back from the shore. Water wraps the point.

From here the district holds the core of Hämeenlinna while the residential quarter of Katuma lies off to the south-east, the two bound into this lake town in southern Finland.
