Kartanonkoski, Vantaa — Area Guide & Where to Stay

The draw here is the district itself. Kartanonkoski is a quiet residential corner of Vantaa rather than a sightseeing stop, so its appeal sits in being close to the rest of the city in southern Finland. From here the neighbouring districts of Leinelä and Koivuhaka, and the wider kaupunki, are within easy reach.

Vantaa grew outward into separate quarters over the years. Kartanonkoski took shape as one of those residential districts in the south-western part of the city, filling in beside neighbouring quarters of the kaupunki like Koivuhaka and Helsinginpitäjä while the wider municipality spread across southern Finland. The district settled into the city.

It remains one piece of the larger Vantaa fabric.
