What is the history of Nanpantan?
Nanpantan was a village before it was a suburb. Loughborough expanded south-west until the two ran together, and what had been farmland on the Charnwood side of the town became streets of housing with the old settlement still legible at the middle. The Nanpantan Mission Room keeps the village name.
