Eight entries sit inside a small area. St Jude's Church and St Columba Church of Scotland stand among them, with the Christian Science Church at La Belle Place, Park Church Tower on Lynedoch Place and St Vincent Parish Church on Kent Road. The Pyramid at Anderston is the modern one.

What is the history of Anderston?
Handloom weavers came first. Anderston was laid out as a weaving village in the early 18th century, became an independent burgh of barony in 1824, and kept that standing until the City of Glasgow took it in during 1846. The burgh lasted twenty-two years.
Incorporation folded the weaving village into the city, and the churches on Kent Road and Lynedoch Place are what that burgh left standing on the north bank of the Clyde.
