Founded in the late 15th century, the Sultanate made this its capital, and the city holds the same role for the province of Aceh. Then the wave. Two of the city's museums exist because of it: the Aceh Tsunami Museum, built for the memory of what the sea did here, and Museum PLTD Apung, which holds a second site of the same story.
Older Aceh keeps its own rooms.
