What are the main landmarks in Rudnyy?

Nothing in Rudnyy is listed as a monument. The Sokolovsko-Sarbai mining and processing enterprise is the landmark in every practical sense, a working industrial complex whose scale is the reason the city was drawn on the map at all. The Tobol is the other one.

That division still holds. Iron ore still runs under the whole story, from the development of the deposits through the construction of the works to the city that grew over them.

Most arrivals come through Kostanay. The larger city of Qostanay Oblysy handles the long-distance connections for this corner of Kazakhstan, and the run out to Rudnyy from there is short enough that many travellers treat it as a local transfer rather than a separate journey. The last stretch is quick.
