Supply is thinner here. A third pocket gathers the old schools. The Mariinsky gymnasium, the Zabnina gymnasium, and the Tovarova gymnasium stand within a few blocks, with the trade school and the Znamenskaya Church closing the run at either end.
Little of it is signposted. The Anisimov mansion and the old bank building carry the same pre-revolutionary frontages, which makes the walk between them the reason to stay here rather than any single sight. Rooms in Borisoglebsk are few overall.

One full church ensemble survives with its enclosure intact, which is why the fence and its gateway are listed alongside the building they were built to guard. Trade and administration followed the parishes. A bank, the office of an industrial enterprise, and the quarters of the district military commander all took solid frontages on the main streets, and merchant families such as the Anisimovs put up mansions behind them.
Schooling took the same turn toward stone. The Mariinsky gymnasium served the girls of the district, the Zabnina gymnasium and the Tovarova gymnasium ran alongside it, and the trade school, the higher primary school, and the parish school completed a set that still marks the street plan of Borisoglebsk. The railway added its own buildings.
