About Trandared
What are the main landmarks in Trandared?
Trandareds kyrka stands among the district's blocks of flats. Hulta Church lies a little over a kilometre to the north. The district's school, built in the 1950s, received an architecture prize for good building design.
Kransmossen, at the edge of Trandared, has two artificial-turf football pitches, the clubhouse of Mariedals IK, an obstacle course, an outdoor gym and a sauna. In 2015 one stage of O-Ringen was run in the woods there.

Trandared grew mostly in the 1940s and 1950s. From the mid-1990s until the turn of 2010/11 it was also a municipal sub-district of its own, and since a reorganisation it has belonged to the Öster district administration of Borås. Its blocks of flats still stand three and four storeys high.
