A municipality of this scale, inside Gjakova District rather than at its seat, does not carry the accommodation a district capital does, and anything booked here will be modest rather than plentiful. The villages are the alternative. Isniq, Dranoc, Carrabreg and Lëbushë each appear on the municipal heritage list through a monument of their own, and staying out among them trades convenience for the ground the register actually describes.
That suits some travellers. Anyone here for Kulla e Demëukëve, Kulla e Brahim Hoxhës or Kullat e Mazrekajve will spend most of the day outside the town anyway, and a room closer to those names saves the daily return. The seat of Gjakova District is the fallback.

Anyone planning a circuit of the municipality's monuments will find the shoulder months easiest for the run out to Dranoc and Carrabreg, when neither heat nor cold is doing much to the roads.
