This estate is private. The Park is residential rather than commercial, so most people book in Nottingham itself and walk in past Nottingham Castle to see the Victorian streets and the gas lamps that light them. The Castle Museum and Art Gallery is the obvious first stop.
If you want to be near the estate without being inside it, the Castle Boulevard side puts Brewhouse Yard Museum and the rock cut houses within a few minutes' walk.

Nottingham Castle and the Nottingham Castle Ducal Mansion sit above the Castle Museum and Art Gallery, and Peveril Tower And Attached Gateway stands on the same ground. Museums cluster with them: the Sherwood Foresters Regimental Museum, the Museum of the Mercian Regiment, Brewhouse Yard Museum, and the Museum of Curiosities.
Holy Trinity Church and the Greek Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary Eleousa hold the religious side, with the Convent Of Our Lady Of Mercy beside them. Regency House and Tower House follow.
