About Sector-17, Chandigarh

Where to stay in Sector-17, Chandigarh

Not every neighbourhood fits every trip — here's what each one is good for.

Sector-17 puts beds inside Chandigarh's commercial core, spread over the lettered blocks from 17-A to 17-E around the plaza. Hotels stand in the 17-A block near Jan Marg and within walking distance of the Inter State Bus Terminus, the simplest base in the city for anyone arriving by road. No car reaches the plaza, so the shopfronts are approached on foot from the multilevel parking outside it.

You want Sector-17 if shops, offices, and bus departures matter more than a garden view. Sector 22 lies across Udyog Path.
