Sheikh Radwan is a residential quarter of Gaza City, not a hotel core. Sheikh Radwan holds few guest rooms of its own. Visitors who base themselves nearby lean toward the Rimal edge to the south, the built-up strip closest to the district that carries most of Gaza City's guest rooms and the traffic running back toward the centre.
The Jabalia side to the east is denser and more local. It sits away from the coast.

The Gaza Museum of Archaeology gathers finds from across the strip, the Blakhiya Byzantine cemetery marks an ancient burial site near the shore, and the Holy Family Church serves the small Christian community that has long shared this corner of Gaza City. Funduq al-Matḥaf stands beside the museum.
