What is the history of Adler?

Two common graves hold Soviet airmen and soldiers killed in the fighting, and three separate monuments to Lenin survive from the decades when Adler grew as a Soviet resort. Sochi absorbed the settlement. Adler became a district of the city rather than a resort in its own name, and the administration of Adlersky city district still runs from here.
