What are the main landmarks in Eklanda?
Eklanda's open ground is for play, with football, basketball, and bandy pitches and many parks. Its artificial pitch, opened in the summer of 2011, is the home ground of Solängens BK, a club of 800 members with 20 teams in league play. The Änggårdsbergen nature reserve borders the district.

What is the history of Eklanda?
Apart from a small core of older buildings, Eklanda was farmland until 1986, when the decision came to build homes on it. Houses went up through the 1990s and 2000s, spreading from Eklanda Hage and Eklanda Skog in the north-west to Eklanda Vall and Eklanda Äng in the south and south-east. A 2012 plan for Fässbergsdalen sets out more housing on the farmland east of Eklanda.
