Expect a plain choice of rooms.
This is a working town of Belarus rather than a place with a lodging trade, and what exists serves people with business here, so the useful approach is to book the centre and treat the outskirts as farmland. A traveller who wants the quieter end will do better toward the Шацілінскія могілкі, where the ground is given over to the burial place that carries the old name Шацілкі in its own, and the walk back into the centre takes only a few minutes.

Four collective war graves stand within the built-up area, one on Прывакзальная плошча, one along вуліца Савецкая, one in the Шацілінскія могілкі and one recorded for Светлагорск without a street attached, which tells its own story about how the war reached this part of Homyel' Voblasc'.
