What is the history of Pisárky?
Most of Pisárky came to Brno in 1850. 1969 gave the cadastral territory the shape it keeps, and the November 1990 reorganisation split it three ways, between Brno-střed, Brno-Kohoutovice and Brno-Jundrov. Work left monuments behind. The paired obelisks to the workers' struggles and the Memorial of architect Bohuslav Fuchs record two very different chapters of that period, one industrial and one architectural.
