Zábrdovice began as a village of its own. Brno annexed it in 1850, and the territory stayed whole until November 1990, when it was split between Brno-střed and Brno-Židenice, with Brno-sever taking a third share from May 1998. Three districts, one cadastral name.
The name survived every one of those redrawings.
