What are the main landmarks in Campbell Park?

Gulliver's Land Resort is the loudest name on the list. Quieter ground holds the Church of St Mary Magdalene, the Rosebery Music Room, The Cross Keys Public House and a run of farmhouses that includes Brook Farmhouse, Church Farmhouse, Hill Farmhouse and Cleobury Farmhouse. The Old Rectory and School House survive as well.

Campbell Park Cricket Ground and The Woolstones Community Centre round it off, with moated sites and fishponds at Great Woolstone and along Mill Lane. Willen keeps its War Memorial Obelisk.

What is the history of Campbell Park?

The parish was assembled on 1 April 1934, when Great Woolstone, Little Woolstone and Willen merged under the name Woolstone-cum-Willen. Newport Pagnell Rural District held it until 1974. That year the Borough of Milton Keynes absorbed the ground, and the parish now takes in the grid-squares of Fishermead, Newlands, Oldbrook, Springfield and Winterhill alongside Willen and The Woolstones.

A redrawing in 2012 moved the Campbell Park grid-square itself into Central Milton Keynes. The council kept the name regardless.

Childs Way and Chaffron Way cap Campbell Park, with the River Ouzel running along one flank of the parish and the A5 along the other.
