About Tsurumi-ku
What are the main landmarks in Tsurumi-ku?
The ward keeps its past above ground. The shell midden of Tsurumi Shrine Shell Midden lies in the grounds of the old shrine, and the burial ground of Mitsuike Kofun rises beside the ponds of Mitsuike Park on the western slopes. Older still is the buried record.
