Ramlösa, Helsingborg — Area Guide & Where to Stay

Ramlösa is a spa district on the south-eastern side of Helsingborg, in Skåne in south-western Sweden.

About Ramlösa

Where to stay in Ramlösa

Each area has its own feel; here's who each one suits.

The spa side has its own calm. Ramlösa suits a visitor who wants green and quiet near the Ramlösa Brunnspark on the south-eastern edge of Helsingborg, away from the busier centre. Beds here are limited, so many travellers still base in central Helsingborg and come out for the park.

For shore air instead, neighbouring Råå is the turn.

About Ramlösa

What are the main landmarks in Ramlösa?

The park is the great draw. Ramlösa Brunnspark spreads its spa grounds across the quarter, the heart of the district and the reason most people come to this side of Helsingborg. Elinebergskyrkan stands among the surrounding streets as the local church.

Beyond them, the centre of Helsingborg and the coastal stretch at Råå lie a short way off across Skåne.

What is the history of Ramlösa?

Ramlösa owes its name to a spring. A mineral spa rose around the source here when the grounds of Ramlösa Brunnspark were founded in 1707, and over the centuries the parkland and its waters drew visitors while housing filled the slopes on the south-eastern side of Helsingborg. The spring made the place.

What had been a spa retreat settled into a district of the city, neighbouring Eskilsminne on Helsingborg's southern flank.

Where is Ramlösa?

Ramlösa keeps the south-east. It spreads across that side of Helsingborg, holding the Ramlösa Brunnspark within its bounds, with the coastal district of Råå down toward the shore and Eskilsminne set nearby on the southern edge of the city. The whole quarter belongs to Skåne County in south-western Sweden.
