About Oakleaf Plantation

Where to stay in Oakleaf Plantation
Not every neighbourhood fits every trip — here's what each one is good for.
Oakleaf Plantation was platted for houses rather than rooms, so its beds stand outside the subdivisions, along Blanding Boulevard toward Orange Park. Blanding Boulevard carries on north to Interstate 295 in Jacksonville. Mail here carries an Orange Park address, although the town itself is a separate place in the same county.
Read the county line first. The First Coast Expressway carries the drive back, with its own exits at Oakleaf Plantation Parkway and at Argyle Forest Boulevard, and this ground suits you if the trip is built around a school, a ball game, or family on the Westside.
About Oakleaf Plantation
What are the main landmarks in Oakleaf Plantation?
Oakleaf Plantation names its landmarks after itself, from Oakleaf High School to Oakleaf Town Center. Five campuses serve it. Oakleaf High School opened in 2010 at 4035 Plantation Oaks Boulevard, with Oakleaf Junior High at 4085 Plantation Oaks Boulevard, both in the Clay County School District.
Plantation Oaks Elementary and Discovery Oaks Elementary take the western side of the expressway, Oakleaf Village Elementary the east. The Town Center trades north of the county line, where Baptist Health opened an emergency center in 2019. Two athletic centers, a golf course, and 15 miles of path lie between.
What is the history of Oakleaf Plantation?
Oakleaf Plantation was laid out from 2002 by the Hutson Companies, on Clay County ground west of Orange Park. The Clay County portion became a census-designated place ahead of the 2010 census, which gave the subdivision a public boundary. Chaffee Road met Branan Field Road.
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority and Clay County joined the two, the Duval County stretch open by 2003 and the Clay County stretch by late 2004, and the tolled expressway between Interstate 10 and Blanding Boulevard was built between 2012 and 2017. Plantation Oaks Boulevard was bridged over the corridor in 2010, two years before that work started.
Where is Oakleaf Plantation?
Oakleaf Plantation lies west of Orange Park on the Clay and Duval county line, the First Coast Expressway through its middle and Argyle Forest Boulevard at the north.
