What is the history of Barra?
Barra's founding year never made the record. What it gives instead is standing: Barra ranks among the most traditional neighbourhoods of Salvador, and the Farol da Barra lighthouse, the Museu Náutico da Bahia and the Efígie de Rubén Darío are the pieces of that past the registers keep. Tourism sits on top of it.
