The CNR rail line closes Oakridge at its southern edge, and a bed north of those tracks puts Victoria Park Avenue on one hand and Warden Avenue on the other, both of them running the length of the neighbourhood. Massey Creek marks the far side. Beyond the borders the choice widens: Birch Cliff sits below, Cliffside runs west toward the Scarborough Bluffs, and Danforth Village takes over to the east.
Nothing inside those boundaries lies far apart.

Oakridge has no listed landmark of its own. What Oakridge has instead are its edges: Massey Creek along the top, the CNR rail line drawn across the bottom, and Victoria Park Avenue and Warden Avenue running down either flank of the neighbourhood. The Scarborough Bluffs lie past Cliffside.
Mack Avenue does the odd work here, taking the boundary east again before it reaches the tracks, and Birch Cliff and Danforth Village supply the nearest named ground on two more sides.
