Rooms on that side sit closer to the Royal Palace of El Pardo, the Casita del Príncipe and the Casa de Oficios, with the Palace of Canto del Pico and the Watchtower of Torrelodones a short drive further out. Pick that side if the plan is walking and monuments rather than meetings, since you will start each day among estates instead of office parks. Nights out there are quiet.
The Postal and Telegraph Museum, the Castle of Aulencia and the Ciudad Deportiva Atlético de Madrid fill the daylight hours instead.
