What is the history of Tolichowki?

Tolichowki grew as Hyderabad spread west. Once a stretch of open ground beyond the older core, it filled in over the decades as the city reached outward toward Banjara Hills, turning from fringe land into a settled residential quarter threaded by a busy main road. The zoo drew the crowds.
