What is Kasaoka known for?

Shiraishi Island is the one most travellers aim for, with Manabeshima and Takashima behind it, and the Kasaoka Islands archipelago as a whole is why the city appears on itineraries at all. Boats leave the mainland for Shiraishi Island, Manabeshima and Takashima, and a crossing is the only way onto any of the thirty-one islands the Kasaoka Islands archipelago contains.
