The Slovenian Computer History Museum anchors the local draw. It traces the machines and engineers that shaped Slovenia's early computing, and it stands among the strongest reasons a visitor climbs out toward this fringe of Ljubljana. Nearby, Vodnikova domačija preserves the birthplace of the poet Valentin Vodnik, while the hillfort of Gradišče nad Pržanom marks a prehistoric earthwork on the wooded rise above Pržan.

What is the history of Zapuže?
The ground here was settled long before the city reached it. The hillfort of Gradišče nad Pržanom shows that people held the rise above Pržan in prehistoric times, ages before Zapuže became a named corner of Ljubljana on the road out toward Šentvid. Later the poet Valentin Vodnik gave the district its literary thread, and his preserved homestead at Vodnikova domačija still carries that memory.
