State Route 22 splits the decision. The Garden Grove Freeway runs east to west through the middle of the city, and which side of it a bed sits on decides whether the morning starts towards the parks or towards West Garden Grove. The western end is quieter.
That part of the city keeps its own name, and a bed there suits anyone who wants Orange County without a park schedule attached. The Crystal Cathedral gives the city its own reason. A room near it puts something on the itinerary that has nothing to do with a ticket queue, and Garden Grove is small enough at roughly 47 square kilometres that nowhere in it is far from the freeway.
Parks fill the rest of the plan. Disneyland, Disney California Adventure and the Disneyland Monorail System draw most arrivals, and Autopia, the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Peter Pan's Flight are the names that get families out of bed early. Bed choice here is a compromise.
