The Como-Harriet Streetcar Line anchors the neighbourhood, a restored heritage tram run kept alive by the Minnesota Streetcar Museum. Two science collections sit close by: The Bakken, devoted to electricity and magnetism, and the Pavek Museum, which preserves broadcasting and radio history. Several early homes carry landmark status, among them the Jonathan Taylor Grimes House, the Floyd B. Olson House, and the Loren L. Chadwick Cottages.
The Theodore Wirth House-Administration Building rounds out the built heritage. It is worth the walk.

Linden Hills grew as a streetcar suburb on the south-western edge of Minneapolis, its plats laid out along the tram lines that once carried families to the lakeshore for summer recreation.
