Seefhoek keeps no museum of its own. The set that pulls visitors stands south in Antwerp's old centre, where the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal rises over the streets around the Rubenshuis and the Museum Plantin-Moretus. Antwerp Zoo and the Museum aan de Stroom pull the same crowds.

What is the history of Seefhoek?
Antwerp once numbered its quarters, and this one answered to the vijfde wijk, the fifth ward, before the name Seefhoek outlasted the count. Borgerhout, on the eastern side, ran as its own municipality before Antwerp drew it in. The line between them still shows.
Park Spoor Noord takes its name from the railway ground it covers on the northern edge, and the Turnhoutsebaan and the Carnotstraat still mark the southern boundary.
