Borgerhout begins a few blocks east. The grid runs north until it stops at Park Spoor Noord, which gives the quarter its one wide opening, and the side streets off the hospital stay quiet after dark.

Two names cover one piece of ground. Antwerp lists Stuivenberg and the Seefhoek as separate quarters, yet they run into each other without a boundary anyone can draw, and in common speech the whole of it answers to the Seefhoek. Usage split the difference.
Stuivenberg came to mean the blocks around the hospital, while the Seefhoek stretched wider, sometimes taking in a piece of the Amanduswijk on the western side. Antwerpen-Noord holds both.
