Most of Blairmore is still open ground waiting on a plan, so travellers who want a room near this edge of Saskatoon take one in central Saskatoon and drive out past Elk Point's early streets.

What are the main landmarks in Blairmore?
Blairmore is mostly still ground. What it has are edges: the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344 along the outskirts, the Riel Industrial Sector to the north, and the Confederation Sector to the east, with the sector's own named pieces still taking shape between them. Kensington and Elk Point are the first of nine.

What is the history of Blairmore?
The city annexed this ground in the mid-2000s. Before that the sector went by a longer name, the Blairmore Suburban Development Area, and it existed mainly as a line on Saskatoon's growth plan rather than as streets and addresses. Nine neighbourhoods were set out for it.
Building began with the Blairmore Urban Centre and Kensington, and Elk Point followed at an early stage.
