About Dundonald
What are the main landmarks in Dundonald?
The park is the landmark. A broad landscaped ring encircles Dundonald, carrying open ground and a storm pond that doubles as the neighbourhood's water feature, and it does more to set the place apart than any building does. Hampton Village lies along the same edge.
Nothing here is old.
What is the history of Dundonald?
Building crews finished here in the 1980s. Dundonald closed out the northwest corner of Saskatoon, the last subdivision the city put down on that edge before Hampton Village opened the ground further, and its landscaped ring and storm pond came with it. Growth then moved on.
It holds more people than the Saskatchewan cities of Melville and Humboldt, though the province grants city status to towns rather than to neighbourhoods.
Where is Dundonald?
Parkland wraps the whole neighbourhood, which sits at the northwest edge of Saskatoon with Hampton Village on the same outer rim and the Blairmore Sector away to the south-west.
