Churches carry much of the built record here. St Augustine's, Kilburn heads the list, and St Mark's Church, Christ Church, the Church of St John the Evangelist and the Church of St Mary follow it through the surrounding streets. The Ben Uri Gallery holds the art.
Kensal Green Cemetery supplies the monuments, among them the Reformers' Memorial, the Memorial to Robert Owen and the Dissenters' Chapel. Regency Lodge on Greville Road and Kensal House round out the listed fabric.
What is the history of Queen's Park?
The park opened in 1887. Queen Victoria's name was attached to it, and the surrounding area took the name in turn, later lending it to the football club Queens Park Rangers. Parish status came far later.
After the right of communities to establish civil parishes was enacted in 2007, the Westminster portion became a civil parish, the first created in London since that change. Kensal Green Cemetery adjoins the area, its Dissenters' Chapel and Memorial to Robert Owen among the monuments listed there.

North-west of Charing Cross. The London Borough of Brent holds most of it, the City of Westminster the rest, around a park of 30 acres.
