Kowloon ends here. The name Yau Tong belongs to the last built-up ground before Lei Yue Mun, and the water off the district's western side is Victoria Harbour, which long set what the shoreline could carry and how far the streets could run. Administration caught up with the geography: the area sits inside Kwun Tong District, the most densely populated district in Hong Kong.
