Kharadi's stays sit inside the office corridor. Pune's older hotel belt keeps west at Koregaon Park and Kalyani Nagar, near enough for an evening among their streets and a short run back east against the morning traffic. Hadapsar carries the same estate ground south. Between the Mula-Mutha and the business parks, the choice comes down to which working address suits and how much of the older city is worth the drive.

What are the main landmarks in Kharadi?
Office blocks and the bank of the Mula-Mutha make up most of what Kharadi has to show. Pune's museum quarter lies west in the old city, where the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum and Vishrambaug Wada stand within a few streets of each other and make a half day out rather than a walk. Koregaon Park sits closer, west along the corridor.
What is the history of Kharadi?
Kharadi's building came late. The suburb belongs to the Eastern Metropolitan Corridor that carried Pune's information technology work out beyond the old boundaries, and its offices and housing rose along the Mula-Mutha rather than around any older street plan. Pune's own charter dates to 1436.
That older city stands west, in Kasba Peth and the Peth quarters the corridor never reached.
Where is Kharadi?
The Mula-Mutha runs past Kharadi's edge, and the estates spread back from the water over the Deccan Plateau ground Pune stands on.
