Addresses out that way trade the walk for parking and an easy run toward Indianapolis or Chicago, which is what most drivers passing through the state actually want.
Older streets hold the rest. Samara, the Jesse Andrew House and the Pottlitzer House stand among them, and those blocks make a quieter base than anything close to the through roads.
