Vandeventer Avenue and 39th Street hold the two ends of it, Chouteau Avenue runs along the top and Interstate 44 along the bottom, so the whole neighbourhood is four lines on a map with about four-tenths of a square mile inside them.
The Missouri Botanical Garden is the neighbour that named it. Shaw begins south of the highway.
