About Near North Riverfront

Where to stay in Near North Riverfront

Not every neighbourhood fits every trip — here's what each one is good for.

Near North Riverfront is a working freight corridor, and the hotel blocks begin across Carr Street in downtown St. Louis. The Riverfront Trail starts at Biddle Street and runs the length of the district past the Mary Meachum Freedom Crossing.

Take a room downtown and ride north if that trail is why you came. North Broadway carries the trucks. Cyclists get more out of the trail than walkers do.
