It runs from North Street up to Bryant Street along the west side of Delaware Avenue, which puts Allentown at the southern end and the Elmwood streets a short way west, and there is no hotel among the mansions themselves. Rooms are found either side of it.

Seventeen buildings and one structure contribute. McKim, Mead & White built the Williams-Butler House at 672 Delaware Avenue and the Williams-Pratt House at 690, both finished in 1896. Edward Brodhead Green added the Charles W. Goodyear House at 888 in 1903 and the Clement House at 786 in 1914, and Westminster Presbyterian Church at 724 is older than all of them, put up by Harlow W. Wilcox in 1859.
Most of the rest went up before the First World War.
What is the history of Delaware Avenue Historic District?
The money arrived first. Mansions went up along this stretch between about 1890 and the First World War in Renaissance Revival and Gothic Revival styles, and the concentration of them earned the avenue the name Millionaires' Mile. The National Register listed the district on the seventeenth of January in 1974.
Westminster Presbyterian Church predates the whole run.
