You would take a bed here for a college visit at the Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology, or for an early start west toward Ajmer, and not for an evening in the bazaars of Jaipur.

Forts and palaces and bazaars belong to the older Jaipur lying east, and reaching them means a drive back down National Highway 48.
What is the history of Bhankrota?
Bhankrota sat on National Highway 8 until the 2010 renumbering turned that road into National Highway 48. Five years before that, in April 2005, the Jaipur-Kishangarh Expressway opened as ninety kilometres of six-lane toll road, built and run under a build-operate-transfer contract. Two colleges came earlier still.
The Chandrawati Education Society set up the Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2000 and the Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women in 2002, and the Ajmer Road frontage at Bhankrota has read as a campus address ever since.
Where is Bhankrota?
Bhankrota lies west of central Jaipur on Ajmer Road, with Mansarovar metro station back toward the city and Bagru further out toward Ajmer.
