Two museums and a set of stone markers fill this small district. The Hakata Machiya Folk Museum and the Hakata History Museum both stand in the district, and the Former Miura Residence is recorded beside them, along with the Daijō-ji Ruins. Stone markers do the rest.
Stelae for the former Kami-oyamamachi, for Takewakaban and for Akamamachi record names the district no longer carries, while the Hakata Site and the Hakata ruins hold the archaeology of the older town. The Kushida Ginkgo still stands.
