Rooms along it and around the вулиця Леніна corner sit a few minutes below the crown of the hill, close to the Museum of the Black Sea Fleet and within a walk of the whole ring. проспект Нахімова faces the water. Beds on that side put the promenade, the Sunken Ships Monument and the Mikhail Kroshitsky Sevastopol Art Museum within a short stroll.

St. Vladimir's Cathedral stands at the top of the hill. Its dome and cross are visible from the streets that circle below it, and вулиця Леніна runs the museum side, past the Museum of the Black Sea Fleet. The Mikhail Kroshitsky Sevastopol Art Museum sits on проспект Нахімова. Велика Морська carries the Cathedral of Intercession of the Theotokos and the Catholic Church of St. Clement.
Beyond the promenade below, the Sunken Ships Monument stands offshore.
What is the history of Central hill?
Sevastopol's centre took shape on this rise. The city grew outward from the hill, and the ring of Велика Морська, вулиця Леніна and проспект Нахімова still traces the plan the early town laid across the slope. Two sieges crossed this ground.
The Siege of Sevastopol left the quarter in rubble, and St. Vladimir's Cathedral rose above a crypt holding the admirals of the defence, Nakhimov among them, whose name the seafront avenue carries.
