What are the main landmarks in Cenisia?

Corso Castelfidardo is the eastern spine. It carries the boundary with Crocetta and the Spina Centrale runs along it, which is the axis that reordered this side of Turin. Piazza Rivoli anchors the northwest.

Corso Vittorio Emanuele II runs from it eastward as the northern boundary of the quarter. The rest is the fabric of a western quarter. Cenisia sits among San Paolo, Pozzo Strada, Lesna and Cit Turin and reads much as they do.

What is the history of Cenisia?

Cenisia belongs to the western expansion of Turin. It sits in the Circoscrizione 3 with San Paolo, Pozzo Strada, Lesna and Cit Turin, all of them quarters that grew outside the old walls on the western side rather than out of separate villages. Its boundaries follow the corsi.

Corso Vittorio Emanuele II between Piazza Rivoli and Corso Inghilterra marks the north toward Cit Turin and Corso Castelfidardo the east toward Crocetta, which is a boundary drawn by 19th and 20th century road building rather than by anything older. The twenty-first century changed it again. Cenisia has been reworked in that period along with the rest of the western band, and the Spina Centrale along Corso Castelfidardo is the largest of those works.
