Lingotto starts in the 17th century. The Fiat Lingotto plant changed the scale of the place, and the neighbourhood that had been established centuries earlier grew around the factory rather than the other way round. What followed is legible in the buildings: the Lingotto multifunctional complex, the Oval Lingotto near it, and the Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli.
