Book a room among those streets first.
Stanisława Wyspiańskiego Street sits on the same side. Kosztowy lies out beyond it, marked from a distance by the FM- and TV-mast Kosztowy, and beds on that side suit a car rather than a walk. The Sacred Heart church and the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary stand further out, each with its own stretch of housing around it.
The Centralne Muzeum Pożarnictwa pulls visitors of its own. Anyone here for it should check which side of the city the room falls on before booking, because Mysłowice is stretched rather than compact and the museums do not cluster. Katowice sits directly across the boundary, and Sosnowiec is close enough that the Church of St John Baptist there appears on the same monument list.

What is the history of Mysłowice?
Mysłowice enters the record in 1241. The Historyczny układ urbanistyczny miasta Mysłowice preserves the plan those centuries left, and Starokościelna Street, Kacza Street and Mikołowska Street still run through it with individually listed houses along them. Salt passed through the town.
The Magazyn soli survives from that trade and has since been converted into a dwelling, which is how most of the working buildings of the period ended up if they were kept at all. Parishes grew as the town did. The Saints Peter and Paul church, the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary and the Sacred Heart church between them cover that expansion, and the Willa Kuderów and the tenement block in Mikołowska Street show what the wealthier end of it built.
Katowice grew faster. Mysłowice ended up pressed against its boundary, with Sosnowiec on the other flank and the Church of St John Baptist there listed alongside the Mysłowice monuments. Mysłowice borders Katowice directly. The city holds sixty-five square kilometres of Silesia, with Sosnowiec on another side and the built-up ground continuing across each of those boundaries rather than stopping at them. Kosztowy marks the outer edge, far enough from the listed streets to read as a separate settlement.
