Waterman Boulevard, Westminster Place, McPherson Avenue, and Pershing Avenue run east to west, while Des Peres Avenue and Rosedale Avenue cross them from Delmar Boulevard down to Lindell Boulevard.
Trains stop at Skinker station. The Pageant stands over the line on the north side of Delmar Boulevard, in the West End. You want this quarter if Forest Park or Washington University in St.

Saint Roch Catholic Church and Saint Roch School sit together on Waterman Boulevard, and Grace Methodist Episcopal Church stands further west along the same street. What is the history of Skinker DeBaliviere?
Skinker DeBaliviere was founded in 1908, on ground that built up fast once the 1904 World's Fair closed in Forest Park. Hamilton Elementary School opened in 1914. Three churches went up in the same decade and still stand: Saint Roch Catholic Church, Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, and New Cote Brilliante.
The quarter integrated racially in 1964, early for St. Louis, and in 1966 the Skinker DeBaliviere Community Council was formed by those churches, Washington University in St. Louis, and two neighbourhood groups. The city designated a Local Historic District here in 1978.
