St. Michael the Archangel Church at 2110 Saint Michael Street is the exception, a parish church dedicated in 1848 and closed in 1998. Oyler School stands on Hatmaker Street.
The rest is housing, single and multiple dwellings, with a few businesses among them. The Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal lies nearly a mile northeast in Queensgate, and St. Lawrence Church, founded from St. Michael's in 1868, stands on the Price Hill ridge above.

The Lower Price Hill Historic District was built as housing for the people who worked the Mill Creek valley, Cincinnati's rail and industrial corridor in the nineteenth century. Many houses date from the 1850s. Nobody counted the quarter as part of Price Hill then; the name attached only in the twentieth century.
St. Michael the Archangel Church was dedicated on June 4, 1848, its cornerstone laid the previous August. National Register listing came on November 15, 1988.
